Anyone else that hated being adopted i always felt lonely because i was adopted?

anyone else that felt lonely or couldnt get close to people because of you being adopted anyone else that hated being adopted because they felt like adoption made them fear getting close to people because if you get close to people they well reject you anyone else that felt like that

I'm sorry to hear this but you must take a risk for yourself if u find the right partner and settle down to have a family u can make sure ur children don't go through the same and feel like you... i hope this feeling doesn't stay x

I have always known that I was adopted,I did not understand at first why.

I now know that my birth mom was too sick mentally, to care for me and that she may have been bipolar.

I was taken from her because she was subject to rages, and that it was feared that she might have injured or killed me.

I also know that I was the result of an affair while my mom was married to someone else, and that my dad new she was pregnant  and refused to take any responsibility for me or her and that he basicly abandoned both of us before I was born.

I have always been grateful to the people that adopted me and gave a chance at a real life that I might not have otherwise have.

I don't know if people will understand that a loving family after the loss of one, doesn't make up for that loss. Encouraging people to deny that loss and focus on what they do have doesn't do anything for the loss and doesn't teach them how to live with it either.

Yes, I have felt lonely and do struggle with letting people into my life in fear of being rejected. I also tend to reject others before they can reject me.
