Question:

Anyone else think Adelaide got a raw deal today?

How hard did Essendon really try to compete in that game - that is what I would like to know. Fair enough - beaten by a better team - but they are all AFL standard footballers out there on the paddock and that scoreline is totally unacceptable. Just a walk in the park. Not good enough.

  1. What's the problem?

    We got a home game.

We get to see another game, a final at home, where's the 'Raw Deal'

    It's a bonus !!

    Why so serious ???

    Peace ♥

  2. Yes, I agree, Essendon ? What a joke, they played to lose, Come on CROWS you did it tough in 97 & 98 we can do it again.

  3. I don't care what anyone else says. I too thought what you suggested. Essendon fielded half a team & did not try one iota. Looks to me like one Victorian team looking after another. The scores were worked out beforehand. Had to be that way.

  4. I think six of the eight games this week were decided by more than sixty points with three being decided by around the 100 point mark ... the teams beaten in that manner (> 60 points) were all also-rans except for North Melbourne.

For mine it shows the distinct difference between the real contenders and the also rans.  That's all.  No conspiracy, no tanking just a gulf of skills difference.

  5. No.

Adelaide should have one last week, but they didn't they have no-one to blame but themselves.

Just like if North were to blame Essendon, Brisbane and the Bulldogs

  6. I did think that Essendon would at least mount a decent challenge today, as they had four players retiring. Adelaide didn't get a raw deal though, it's just how the game goes!

  7. wtf

is your hat on to tight

    what you on about girl

  8. Hahahahahha take that adelaide supporters. im glad we got flogged by 108 points to get adelaide out of 4th place lol.

Im preety sure the game was fixed........when was the last time we lost to saint kilda  by 100+?

  9. adelaide got a home game

geeeeez what more do you want

next you will be saying you think the swans will beat north

  10. no

  11. Yeah I'm sure that's what it is. Essendon let themselves get thrashed so that Adelaide would miss out on 4th spot.

Why didn't I see it before?

  12. Crow supporters should get over it; they lost to St.Kilda, don't forget. Their fate was in their own hands, not the Saint's.

  13. There are scorelines like this every week including other games this week. Teams don't help other teams out like that. Look at Hawks, they were up by over 10 goals in the last quarter but still had 2-3 players on Fev to stop him from kicking 100 goals . Why would you want to play Geelong in the first week . I would rather play us the way we are travelling

  14. PATHETIC!

    Even EAGLES beat saints!!!

Eagles get told off for supposedly tanking but essendon can get away with what they did to help out another vic club!
