  1. It's cheaper than buying "regular" clothes.

  2. WOW. Here in the Philippines its not. So sad... Its because we have a  lot of tailors. But there I think your uniforms ARE pretty expensive.

  3. Actually I don't think they are expensive at all. My son's came from a mixture of Matalan and Asda, and cost less than his ordinary clothes.

IMO what needs to be done is to ban primary schools from specifying expensive uniforms which have to be bought from certain places. There is no reason AT ALL why primary schools have to insist on £30 custom fleeces, when generic ones can cost as little as £2.

  4. I'm not in the UK, sorry, but I was wondering, can parents get a uniform swap together?  Or if you have friends who have older children at the same school, could you request that they let you have any clothes that their child has outgrown?

I get a lot of hand-me-downs from friends and buy a lot of children's clothes at our local Salvation Army.  The clothes are still in very good condition and the price is right.

  5. They are exspensive!

  6. I do i bought my daughter a couple of jumpers last mounth it come to £100! Then at her dance show they got stolen and we was unable to do anything about it!

  7. I don't think so, especially if you are talking about girls. It is much more expensive keeping them in all the fashions, with the necessary diverse wardrobe.
