Anyone else think it's time that WWE got...?

Question

It's own channel? Think about it, the NFL has NFL Network.

WWE could do very well with a WWE network on cable or something. It could feed news about injured superstars, when superstars are making their appearance, it could have new superstars about to enter the WWE so we atleast have a little bit of knowledge about them before they come on.

They could show some classic matches every now and than or just have superstar interviews so you get to know the actual superstars and see more than what they do on Raw, ECW or Smackdown. They could also start showing ECW on it so that they could make it a two hour long show like Raw and Smackdown.

What do you guys think of

1) The idea of a WWE channel in the first place

and

2) Anything you'd like to see on the WWE channel?

i would love that idea. never thought of it lol. i would be tuned on 24/7. i thiink it might actually give wwe higher ratings. great idea man.

WWE can't even produce five hours of decent entertainment a week without half of it being filler, what makes you think they could operate a successful network?

I think it sounds fair to the WWE.

And they could show old matches that never made it to VHS/DVD.

Like,there was this old match with Stone Cold vs Davey Boy Smith that WWE never showed on TV. They could show that along with a ton of other things they never showed us fans.

I'd want them to maybe do like history of the WWE eras like the attitude era. Show some memorable matches. and what not

i agree with you.

WWE should have its own channel on cable w/ no commercial breaks until the show is over.because when i'm watching on jack TV every time someone dives from in ring to the outside advertisements start to show. i hate it when that happens. i think we should try to ask the WWE abOut it. and if there would b nO new shOw or episode. they would play WWF. so that WE can recall some WWF great matches. and also the past WRESTLEMANIAS, SUMMERSLAMS, and SURVIVOR SERIES. that would be nice. especially showing WWE PPV'S well thats all i can give, but lets try tO PM the WWE abOut this tOpoc sEE yA!!

They already have WWE 24/7, but to answer the question:

1 & 2) It wouldn't last too long. There really isn't enough to sustain it. With all the good moments, Heat, and everything else, I doubt it would hold interest. It would tank faster than the XFL.

You ever heard of wrestling outside WWE? No, an entire channel dedicated to one wrestling promotion would be completely ridiculous and harmful to the industry. They have some sort of WWE 24/7 stuff on as it is.
