US Airways better give a bottle of Coke if they expect me to pay 2 dollars for it. Thats c**p!and you all know even if we didnt have this gas crisis they would have found a reason to still charge! Then I read Southwest is raising their rates as well!I swear from now on I'm just going to walk everywhere.

  1. I think they are trying to use the price of gas to make more of a profit.

Airfare is sooooooo high right now, there is no way they need to charge for drinks!!!

I bet you would give me a drink for free  - right?  An ice cold Mug - yum!!

    *2 more days ; ) *

  2. COMPLETE BS :]]

  3. i heard that AirTran is charging for people to get seating assignments, meaning that a person must pay to sit by who they are traveling with. isnt that just a given that you would want to sit with the people that you are traveling with

  4. No they would have not have!  All the airlines are losing billions of dollars.  They are trying desperate measures to survive.  Not one airline is going to make a dime this year, it's all in the red, they holding on hoping to find a way to stay in  business.  The entire industry may crash and the whole thing may have to be restructured (perhaps with foreign owners).  if you want to blame someone, blame the oil corporations and the oil men in politics who are gouging everyone and killing everyone else along the way.  That's who you should be mad at.  Get the facts about the airlines first before you pass judgment!  if you owned a company and were losing hundreds of millions, would you up some prices to try to make a profit or just keep losing money for the sake of your customers?  You wouldnt last long with the latter.

  5. i do walk everywhere btw.. and i sort of half expected this.. theyve got to make money for the oil some how. its got to come from somewhere.

  6. i understand your thinking but the company has to pay their employees somehow. i agree that they shouldnt make you pay for snacks and stuf but if they are having trouble making money what else can they do, maybe you should complain to the company.
