Anyone else think that the billion dollar house is ugly and a waste of money?

I would love to have that kind of money, but dang that house is just plain ugly.

What one need is only basic needs.

With roof over the head.

As time -traveller passing by in time.

Not the glory and glarings under the sun, moon and star, even can be seen on cloudy and rainy days.

When one have only two hands like everyone else.

In plundering, looting with destruction of God's natural assets vital for the survival and advancement of living human kind in time.

In kicking the butts of God in not worshiping God.

In doing things at own whims and fancy out there.

With lost sense of direction and purpose of life.

I agree it's ugly...but not a waste of money.

The money isn't being burned...it's going to jobs. The construction and operation of that house will put food on the tables of countless families.

That's the proper approach to wealth distribution.

Oh yeah, really ugly!  Yes, it has created a lot of temporary jobs and a few permanent servant jobs, although the family already has servants.  Too many chandeliers in the ballroom.  The lounge areas are ordinary.  The exterior looks like it's a random toss of a pair of dice.  What's really odd is they think hanging plants in the garage will make it environmentally friendly and "reduce the carbon footprint."  This is a family with children--How can you even call it a house?  Do the kids need a beeper to find their parents?

I don't know about a waste of money. Ugly Yes. It's a billion dollars that has been given to builders, designers and all involved in creating such a project. Jobs and so on, the economy has done well on building a nasty looking house

Sure, it's EXTREMELY ugly, but i guess whoever built it didn't think it's a waste of money for some unknown reason...O.o
