  1. Hmmm...NOPE.

And you'd better get used to it, buddy. GO PHELPS!!

  2. I'm not tired of Michael Phelps. I think he is the greatest swimmer to date. I have been watching him for the last 8 years. He deserves the attention.

I am tired of all the girls who are talking non stop about him only because they think he is hot. (I know they don't all think that, but you can tell the ones that do!)

  3. Not really he is incredibly talented and he just set the recorded for the most gold medals in a single olympics year.

  4. i swear its called the micheal phelps olympics!

  5. you better get used to it

  6. Yes!, I'm so sick of it!. The guy swims, that's it.......swims! So what! I think his 8 golds is astounding, especially since one was given to him after losing! I understand NBC has to keep the story going for fear of fading interest since swimming is over, but this is just plain overkill! Track and field and basketball is much more interesting!

  7. Actually no.

You're tired of hearing about a guy who is winning Medals for the USA?

  8. im not tired of him at all. your gonna hear about him a lot especially since he just won his 8th gold medal. hes a real good swimmer, people are gonna talk about him.

  9. Yep I had to turn the channel it was making me sick. Congratulations, now move on already.

  10. Yes it is. And like my previous answer, I think Phelps is just taking the glory now because Ian Thorpe has retired. When Ian was around, Phelps was always taking the silver instead and even the commentators were not even talking about Phelps much, it was always Ian. Now that the best has retired, it's just so convenient for the second best to take his place.

Watch videos on previous olympics where Ian kept beating Phelps. You can even sense that Phelps himself knows that Ian is better than him.

  11. Are you crazy?! He's amazing! You don't wanna hear about him go live in a cave somewhere, he has the most golds in a single Olympics. People will be talking about Michael Phelps forever! No one will ever forget these games if they were watching it, it was absolutely amazing and astounding. GO MICHAEL!

  12. well im a little tired of the swimming my family watches it all the time its driving me nuts cuz i have to watch it cuz im the only one in my family without a tv

  13. Tired of a cheater, Yes.  Phelps was in 2nd place during his 7th race.  Phelps is the Omega Watches Spokesperson: suspicious indeed!!!

Marion Jones - hello!  Gary Hall Jr. = remember him??  His articles in AP NEWS showcased how lots of doping by US Swimmers and how they were coached to do "scheduled doping" in the off season before the Olympics.  Hello!

  14. He's getting credit where it is due.  Far more better than hearing about Britney and Miley all the time!!

  15. how can you get tired of him? he is the best olympic player ever. 14 gold medals, 8 for 8 this year 7 world records

  16. Nope.  But then again I have other things to do with my day anyway, so it's not quite that intrusive.

  17. no not at all

  18. nope..... he's incredible and so talented!!!!

  19. Yes, it has been way too saturated now.

I can understand a day after, but it's still the head of the sporting news.  What about the other thousands of athletes that are in the Olympics, or the other great US athletes?  Seriously the coverage of it is overshadowing their performances too and downgrading their efforts.

Please move on with the other athletes, NBC and media.

  20. Nope. I certainly am not. He's very talented and an amazing athlete.

You're about to hear more about him as he just won his eighth gold medal. =)

  21. Well, you should take a look at Usain Bolt if you want to see somebody who's not human. He makes Phelps look like a whimpy slow snail.

Finally, there's UNDENIABLE PROOF that Phelps LOST. This photo was in the New York Times.

Cavic beat him period. In the bottom frame, Cavic is either touching the wall, or is 1 milimeter away from touching it. Phelps is a good 1/2 foot from the wall.

Look at how much difference there is between Phelps middle fingers and the edge of the water? Now look at how there's not even 1mm of space between Cavic's middle figners and the edge of the water.

  22. NO! UR JUST A HATER AND JEALOUS!!!!!!

  23. Phelps is mentioned very frequently and it can become annoying listening about how great he is. What we have to remember is that he has made history! No one else has ever been able to do what he has! We need to let him enjoy this special moment and help him celebrate, because unfortunately (especially in swimming) after we become great we are forgotten. In a couple of months Americans (especially those who don't swim) will forget who he is and what he has accomplished.

  24. I'm not at all. He is an american hero and one heck of a champion athlete. But seriously dude, just wait like two weeks and things will calm down.

  25. Nope. You're going to hear a lot more of him, because he just won his 8th Medal!!!!!!!!!1

  26. I think the media is saturated with him right now to the point of nausea. TV and the papers will beat the Michael Phelps story to death.

Don't get me wrong, his accomplishment is amazing, but I am tired of hearing about it constantly.

One thing I will not miss is seeing his mother in the stands after each race....that got real old.

  27. yeah he just won his 8th medal today good for him no1 cares
