Anyone else totally freaked about the strike coming up and worried that it'll ruin their weekend plans???

We are attending an event in Paris so we can't reschedule. Why do they have to do this when there's no Saturday school?!? Do you think it'll be that bad? Please share links to stories you think are useful.

The strike is usually hardest during the work days, those ##### want to create the greatest chaos possible.

During the weekend people leave Paris, making it easier to drive around. You can book a taxi the day before, or ask your hotel to do it for you. Don't try to drive yourself, you won't find any parking space.

If is isn't raining and you have the time for it, you can rent a bike on the numerous bike stations around. Or you can walk, Paris is not such a big city.
