Lol mine makes that noise whenever he trys to eat. He hiccups loudly the first time, which starles him and then he just goes back to eating and hiccuping again.

i have gerbild much different from hamsters but i never heard the hiccup only squeek and yawn i hope ur hamster is ok

my hamster makes it when hes scared, usually when hes sleeping and he hears the vacuum! He also yawns and stretches when he gets up! So cute eh?
