Anyone ever adopt from central PA?

i live in central pa. i just want to know what it took and how long it took, as well as if you went through family and children's services to adopt, and what they do when they do the home study, home inspection etc.

im unsure but my partner is adopting my daughter as his own .. the solicitor said its a few signed documents and if other pearent agrees for you to adopt the court gives you the go ahead to adopt.. ( hence my daughter was from another marrage but he does not want anything to do with her) .. i hope everything goes well for you hun and all the best to adopt xx

My parent adopted me through Tressler Lutheran Services.  They're still functioning.  It took my parent less than a year to adopt me.  If you're not looking for the "perfect" baby it's usually a few months.

Do you mean while living in central PA or adopt a child who was from central PA?

I don't live too far from there but I would imagine if you searched adoption agency's you will find one that can help you.
