Anyone ever been in a Good College Fantasy Basketball League?

I'm a huge college hoops fan and I know yahoo, spn etc...don't host college leagues. But I'm just wondering if anyone has had any experience being in a college league or even running your own league? And I'm talking about a league that uses actual players and preferably limits the player pool to a conference or two.

So if anyone knows a good website post or if you've been in a league before let me know what it was like and if it was worth your time

  1. I've been in one before but I didn't run it. So for me it was a lot of fun and didn't take much time. And the guy that ran it said it didn't take much time.

He just made a simple website off one of those free hosts. In my opinion if you're playing with people that live in your area you don't even need a website. The only thing that would have taken much time was inputting the stats. But our league was ACC only so even that didn't take much time.

here's some sites I've found that may help you out:

http://www.fantasycollegebasketball.net  -They have inexpensive programs to help you run a league

http://www.u-sports.com     -I've never tried this site but they host leagues and I think they use individual players. But it costs like $150 per league.

I think those may be the only two sites where you can set up the type of league you want. There are other sites but you have to draft teams instead of individuals. If I was you I wouldn't worry about paying to have a website host your league. Just create it yourself all you need to do is make a spreadsheet. And if you have trouble creating spreadsheets that first site sells them for like 5bucks.
