Anyone ever been on the Carnival Valor?

Im going on the Carnival Valor cruise ship in June and was just wondering has anyone else ever been on this cruise ship and did you have fun? I will be 18 at the time im on the ship, so whats there for me to do :)

Go to CruiseCritic.com, click on "Boards" and/or "Reviews" [be sure to look for past passenger reviews] and you can find out lots of info on all aspects of cruising.  Look, too, on the "Carnival" board for info about the Valor.  You might be interested in the "Roll Call" section, but I think you have to "join" first [it's free!].

Yes I have.  I think I was 13 when I went? So two years ago.  Hmmm yes, I did have a lot of fun.  If I would have been 18 though, it would've been more fun.  You get to go to all of the different clubs and stuff.  :)  If I were you, I'd skip sleeping.  Just party all night long, eat breakfast, get off the ship, eat lunch on the ship (free!), either stay on & relax in the afternoon by the pool or get off the ship again.  Then, go to dinner, maybe the show, then to the dance parties!  The Carnival Valor is a really great ship.  I may seem young but cruises are my obsession.  I think I am going on my 7th this March.  On the sea days, don't spend the entire day at the pool like everyone else.  Go to some of the activities at the Ivanhoe theatre.  Also, do some exploring right when you get on the ship.  The last cruise I went on, the Carnival Pride, I went exploring.  I got to see the theatre absolutely empty.  It was awesome.  Just have a good time and meet some people!

I Love Carnival and their ships and prefer to travel with them, I also blog with the Senior Cruise director, John Heald, who get to try all the new ships first. He has a blog and answers questions about any Carnival ship, even who is the Cruise Director on them and will be able to tell you what you want the best. He is a lot of fun and currently is getting ready to go back on ship but still answers posts
