Anyone ever been parasailing?

If you have, is it more scary or fun?

I went in Hawaii.  It was not very scary at all.

We went to Mexico one year and was going to sign up for it...found out that the guy's boat ran out of gas and the tourist hit the side of the Holiday Inn and was killed instantly.  So we never signed up.  I've always wanted to try it.  Best to get recommendations of the parasailing companies  (BBB or Chamber of Commerces), search for a reputable company, get the extra insurance.  

One day, I'm going to try it.  Its on my to do list.

I went parasailing in Key West, FL and it is awesome.  It's kinda creepy at first because when I did it, I flew up from the boat really fast!  But yeah, it's worth it.

I went parasailing over the Atlantic Ocean in Myrtle Beach, SC. It was great.
