  1. my niece and her family went there last year and she said it was an excellent place but very expensive to eat. the cheapest place i have seen ton the net to buy tickets is from www.asda.com

  2. its a nice place enjoy it..take lots of money because it is expencive....have fun

  3. It is a fab place for younger kids (under 10) but make sure you take LOTS of money as it is verrrrry expensive....have fun

  4. We went last year and took my niece (then 6) and my daughter (3)  we all had a fantastic time!  They were about the right ages to enjoy it but i agree with the previous answerer, it is expensive, but then all theme parks are!  the biggest piece of advise i can give is get a map and go round the park anticlockwise!  Everyone else normally goes clockwise and it means you get a slightly quieter morning!

  5. Having been to legoland 8 times (no kidding!).  I'm a bit of an expert on it.  Firstly - never pay the full price, there are always deals available.  tesco are doing vouchers for 1 free person at the moment as are Woolworths I believe.  If not, look on the lego website as they often have deals there.  If you want to stay over and go for 2 nights you can stay in a nice 4 star hotel with a pool and breakfast nearby in Slough for next to nothing (we were £155 for 3 of us for 1 night, 2 full days at Legoland and breakfast).  Firstly parking.  You will be directed to a car park but try to arrive early as it's huge.  You can then either take the hill train down to the main park (great for disabled people or those with pushchairs) or just walk down.  The walk down is fun with slides along the way for the kids to slide down.  Also at the top before you go down is a hire place so you can hire pushchairs if you didn't bring one.  I would advise that you bring a packed lunch with you as there is food there but it's not great and it's overpriced.  There are loads of places to eat a picnic.  If you don't fancy carrying your packed lunch around with you till lunchtime there are lockers you can hire next to the hill train on the way down.  make sure you get a map when you go in so you can see where you're going but everything is signposted.  There is no smoking in Legoland apart from a couple of designated areas but alcohol is served in a couple of the restaurants.  The little ones like Duploland best as it has the water area.  If it's going to be a nice day, remember to bring a towel and a swimsuit / change of clothes for the little ones as they turn on the fountains and the kids run in and out of them as long as you'll let them having a great time.  There's also a huge play area with playground stuff and a gentle fairybook boat ride.  If you want to introduce kids to rollercoasters then the dragon's apprentice is great.  It's a small rollercoaster and just fast enough to make them scream but keep a smile on their faces.  The things that always get huge queues are the boat ride where you row the boat yourself, the driving school for the kids, the monorail and the adult rollercoasters so if you fancy these, get there early.  There is a puppet show for the young ones and also a water based show at certain times of the day around the lake.  The knights castle area is the best place to go for around lunch time.  There are plenty of green spaces around to sit and have a picnic and a huge adventure playground for the kids to run around inside.  There are huge amounts of places to buy food, lego (obviously) and even lego clothing but these prices are ridiculously high so don't be tempted, it'll be cheaper in another shop when you get home.
