  1. I have lived in the Caribbean once, sailed the pristine waters myself  and have made cruise stops, etc. But the very best "adults only" (this is a honeymoon) narrows to Galley Bay and my personal favorite (three trips) is the Excellence Punta Cana in the Dominican Republic. THIS IS A SURE TO PLEASE.

  2. My suggestion....take Norwegian Cruise Lines to the Western Carribean.     They are the BEST  of the mid-line cruise ships.  You can visit many islands that way, be pampered every moment you want, have the best of everything..and take your passport on shore.  Many port authorities will stamp the passport as a free souvenir of your trip!

  3. check out barbados .make sure the guy that marries you is bona fide. be firm with the natives. you will get ripped off if you are not very carefull ,but that applies to any where .depends how much you want to spend. i advise you to go all inclusive.

  4. The dominican republic is really beautiful!

Try googling the Riu resorts there.

There is a bunch of 3 resorts in Puerta Plata, all linked so you can spend time in any that you like!

One is called Riu Merengue if thats any help :)

  5. I've been many times. I would say don't go in the summer though. It gets pretty hot and uncomfortable. I don't really know any good places to stay since we own a house there and don't stay in a resort.

  6. I've been to St. Maarten, St. Kitts, Saba, South Caicos, Cozumel, Aruba, Curacao, and Bonaire.  All of them were very nice.  I'd like to go to St. Maarten again one of these days because I didn't get to spend a lot of time there.  It was just the port of departure for a liveaboard diving trip.  What I saw was nice though.  It's very European, especially Marigot, the capital of the French side.  The bakeries and sidewalk cafes look just like the pictures I've seen of French cities.  Most of the year any place in the Caribbean is nice, but from July to October there's a risk of hurricanes unless you go to the far southern islands like Aruba, Bonaire, and Curacao.  I went to those three islands on my last vacation and really enjoyed it, but I'd recommend choosing just one unless you have a lot of time to spend there.  Trying to see all three in just nine days was a little frustrating because there were so many more things I wanted to see and do and there wasn't enough time.

  7. St.Barts

    St.Lucia

    Jamaica

  8. Dominican Republic, it is great!!!!

  9. I went to the BVI's 1 week cruise on a carameran 38 ft. It was great

  10. I suggest Sandals Resort on St. Lucia.  Never go to the Carribean in the summer because the heat and humidity is severe.

  11. go to the all inclusive sandals resort at montego bay, Jamaica, its the best and i highly recommend it. you will love it there is so much to do and many places to visit i'm going back next month and i will love to keep going until i run out of money lol, the pppl are super nice.
