Be sure to check the size.  Because many Mexicans are short, a bed may be shorter than you expect--especially if you're a tall person.

I have bought a bed in Mexico too..Some people who move here pay a fortune to move all their furniture, but most buy new here.  You can buy excellent quality mattress and box springs and  buy the frames or have  them made for you by local craftsmen.  No problem, and very fair prices.
