  1. There are a few online bird cages stores, and several of them have free shipping. A few years ago I bought two really nice bird cages online for a grey and a cockatoo that I have and I spent about $250 a piece on the cages. Pretty good deal for the size if you ask me. Try www.birdcages4less.com and www.qualitydiscountcages.com. Both of these have free shipping, which can drastically reduce the price.The last website I listed is where I bought my bird cages from that I was talking about.  


  2. Yes, I have bought online - shipping is the only thing you have to be careful of. Another good resource is the back of Bird Talk magazine.
