Anyone ever cruised the Mediterranean in September?

Question

I am thinking about going on a cruise in the Eastern Mediterranean this September. Does anyone know what the weather is like during that time? Anyone know when the hurricane season is in that area of the world??

We cruised end of August beginning of September. The weather was gorgeous at that time. I think we only had one day of rain. I'm not sure about the hurricane season though but try www.weather.com

YES !! had two cruises in the Mediterranean in the fall of the year.  The first was out of Barcelona to France (Nice), Italy, Greece, and Turkey.  The second was also out of Barcelona and went to the western Mediterranean, Gibraltar, Spain, Portugal, Morocco, Canary Islands.  

The first cruise was the last week of Sept for 2 weeks and the weather was perfect.   Daytime temperatures in all of the places were in the 70's and nighttime about 55 to 60.   It was pleasant enough on ship at night to sit on the balcony.  It rained just a little in Florence and Naples but otherwise was sunny.

Our second cruise was late October to a few days into November.  Again the weather was great.  Most days we wore long sleeves and maybe a light jacket or sweater, but it was by no means cold.  in fact some days it was mid-70's.

They do not have a hurricane season like in the Caribbean.

just go at early semptember after that it stars to get some VEERy windy wether

It will be very hot

I was in the Mediterranean in September 2003 and it was over 100 degrees in most cities. It was hot and sticky and very uncomfortable. We spent alot of time in the pool when we weren't on shore excursions.
