Anyone ever eat at a Steak & Ale? Was it good? Expensive? Steaks tender?

This chain has been going downhill for awhile now.

The ones by me closed up recently, but I have always liked them.

The only thing I would ever really get is their Hawaiian chicken, it was so good and it comes with 2 sides I think.  My boyfriend has gotten the steaks before and they were good.  

They have an early bird special and you can get a lot of the stuff from the menu but it's just a smaller portion, and it's really cheap.

Their salad bar is good, not the biggest one ever, but they have plenty.  And they have soup too at the bar.

My husband and I thought it was overpriced and the food wasn't great. We only went once and decided it wasn't worth another shot. Too many good places out there to spend your hard earned money. Best of Luck.
