I am beginning to feel this way. I just got the blood tests back from my doctors and they came back normal, maybe some osteoarthritis. But that doesn't explain the electric shock feel I sometimes get in my left arm, the tired but cant sleep, the 2 times I passed out a few years ago, about a year apart each incident. But I am afraid to say anything to the doctors since they ruled out RA. I am begining to think that everyone is right, that it is all in my head. But I really hate feeling that because I know I am in pain. But seems nothing anyone can do about it. Ideas please?

  1. I honestly believe at times when doctors don't know whats really medically wrong with someone they either try to pass it off as its all in your head, or your just old, meaning they do this to the older generation...

I'd keep going to the doctors and tell them all the syptoms  you need to figure out whats causing the problems, plus it could be something sericous, so don't let them make you feel like theres nothing wrong with you.. best of luck to you!

  2. I would do more research on the internet. Do you think you may have some sort of nerve damage on that arm? If you are older it is much easier to do, even if you just press on a nerve for too long it can pinch it (I guess that is what its called). I had this happen to me and it bugged me for awhile (a couple of months maybe) and now its gone completely.

Maybe you keep re injuring the nerve somehow.

And please do not trust the doctors 100% ever. Many times they have not clue, and as the other answerer said, they just don't want to admit it.

eta: Have they checked you for MS?
