Anyone ever get wedding insurance?

Supposedly it covers anything from illness in the family to fire or natural weather disasters on the day of your wedding, where you will not be responsible for any money lost due to these causes. Does anyone know how it works, how much it costs (approximately, as a % of total wedding cost) and where I could get it?

Contact an Independent Insurance Broker, they are going to have to go to a surplus line carrier, depending on the cost of your wedding and how much coverage you want... that will drive the premium.

i would say if your wedding is going to be very expensive, it is cheap to purchase and maybe a good idea. anything can happen where you are holding it, etc..
