  1. Melting pot is O.K. La Fondue in Saratoga, Ca is the best fondue I've ever had more variety of meat, seafood, etc. The salad is to die for. And the dessert is incredible with way more stuff to dip in your chocolate. Also, they put your choice of Grand Mariner, Bailey's, Cointreau, etc. and last but not least, La Fondue offers the grilling method unlike Melting pot who instead have a boiling broth. gross. I rate melting pot a 6/10 and La Fondue a 10/10 and Friar Tucks in Nevada City, Ca a 1/10.

  2. it cost about 70-120 per couple but it is well worth it! the service is great and you will not leave hungry. they start off with a cheese fondue of your choice then salad, meats, and the best which is deseart where you can choose from several different chocolate combinations. hope i helped!

  3. I loved the Melting Pot.  I had wanted to go there for years, but could never find a reason and then last November I got to go.  The atmosphere and service were great.  The aromas alone make everything worth while.  the cost is not so bad.  I got the most expensive meal you could buy for two, but three of us shared it.  We were stuffed, however I still could have bought a second cheese fondue.  The total cost with tip was $130.  This included drinks (non-alcoholic) with wine add another $25-35 dollars. I think the value for money was right on as you get Fillet Mignon and Lobster, plus the salads, veggies, cheese and of coarse the dessert fondue...yummy my mouth is watering just remembering it.  Plus if you fill out their on line survey you get a free dessert fondu coupon.
