Anyone ever had Portillo's?

I have a had it twice. They just opend one near my house. it's a half hour away but, still. The 1st time I had a hot dog...it was okay, and I had some french fries that were disappointing. The 2nd time I had a hamburger with a strawberry shake. OMGOSH! It was the best burger I have ever had!!!! The shake needed to be blended more though but it was good. The 3rd I had the same thing...no shake.

Portillo's is the best fast food place ever! They have the most delicious Italian beef sandwiches and I love their chopped salad. Also, their hotdogs & cheeseburgers are great.

Ours just opened...same place maybe..Moreno Valley..We tried it about three days ago. My daughter threw up all night from eating a plain hot dog and I had to notify the corporate office about it.

The cashier acted like she was an airhead and couldn't even tell us what was in one of the shakes.

32 bucks for hot dogs and cokes and a sick child.. Never going back!!

I have and had Italian Beef.  Frankly, it was good but not great.  I'd heard a lot of hype about them and expected it to be the best ever.

I've read a lot about them recently - especially after the incident. It's always a tragedy when people die, but it really wasn't completely their fault, and I think it's a bit severe to force them to close all of their restaurants.

try the chopped salad - sometimes they get a little heavy on the onion, but yummmmmmm...

And then there is the heavenly chocolate cake - oh my gosh - and the rum cake is not too bad, either.

Tommy's  is the KING, try they're chili - triple, bacon, cheese, jalapeno, burger, a whopping 2lb's pure heaven, don't get the value meal they give you a 1lb of fries, and a med (24oz) cold drink......save your dough, get the burger/coke, and when you walk away, your full for at least 3-4 hours............
