Anyone ever had a Discover Bank account?

I saw an ad for discover bank on a website and they have pretty good interest rates on their money market accounts and cds. Has anyone ever had an account with them? Is there anything i should know about banking with discover before i decide to open an account?

I’ve never had any account with them apart from Credit Card account. I think you have no reasons to worry about anything. Discover is a reliable financial institution. If you’ve already made your research and found their rate most attractive – go with them. If you haven’t – don’t forget about other banks.

I have not used them as a bank. Just as a credit card.

All I have to say is they were the nicest and most caring credit card services I ever used. Their customer service was outstanding and they helped me out a lot when I was going through rough financial waters.
