Anyone ever hear of Doctor Anti-Virus?

I was online looking at some videos when this message come up telling me that my computer was infected I know from experience that this a Trojan or some other type of malicious c**p so I tried to get out of there and it wouldn't let me leave, before I had time to disconnect it tried to download Doctor Anti Virus 5 times, thank god I use Kaspersky it block every attempt.

My question what can you tell me about Doctor Anti-Virus

and what is the best thing you can do if you come across this and it will not let you leave I was forced to turn my computer off by the wrong way.

its a fake antivirus which would ask u repeatedly to subscribe n pay n would want u to give out ur credit card info so its a virus so best thing to do is b careful wid the sites n never get it installed n even if u do dont run it n pay 4 it or somethin.

Well its quite a new one but If Doctor Antivirus 2008 has been installed on your system without your permission or you are seeing popup advertising or recommending that you use Doctor Antivirus 2008 your system is infected with the zlob trojan.

Trying to x out the pop up or clicking cancel/or similar will

instantly make it start downloading....so that is a no-no.

What you done ...ie turn off the wrong way is probably best.

Bearing in mind what it says about the pop up and being

infected already with zlob trojan through video codec it

might be worthwhile you doing a scan for peace of mind

even though you have the excellent Kaspersky.

The scan if you decide to is Free... as is removal

of any infection they find.
