LOL As soon as I saw this ? I immediately thought of the movie the Fast and the Furious. But yes I've heard of it, it's in Central California I think.

Of course.  It's famous for its prison which was actually used in dialogue in the "Fast and the Furious." Vin Diesel's character (Dom) says he served time at Lompoc and doesn't want to go back.

So even if you don't know the town, if you saw F&F, you at least heard of it.
