Anyone ever heard of the Imperial Franklin Mint chess set and know what it's worth - I tried google and ebay.

I was given it as a present - no intention of selling it unless it's worth loads lol

From experience, Franklin Mint are a company which produce "collectable" items but they never become anything of great value.  Learn to play chess and enjoy using it !

I've only seen ads, but these things look incredibly over priced. I wouldn't call them "collectors items" if your intention is to sell them at a profit some day.

I've seen it and unless you love that particular set there are much better, more affordable, and more interesting sets
