Anyone ever order flowers from sams or costco for a big event. ie Wedding?

I want to order gerbera daisies from either costco or sams club for my wedding and put the bouquets together. (these places are the cheapest) What are the quality of their flowers like? Also, did they arrive when they were supposed too? Or any other suggestions on where to order from. (wedding is May 2009

I have for many events.  It can honestly be hit or miss depending on the tiem of year.  I have had the best luck with Sams.  And over order so you have enough if some arent in good shape.  Better too many than not enough!

I'm going to order from Costco's. I called and spoke to the salesperson for a while and asked when they get their fresh shipments and actually went to the store and checked out their inventory to make sure it's what I want and how I like the flowers. They have a variety of options for rose colors and a few gerbers but that's about it (as far as ordering goes).

My best friend got Gerbera daisies from Costco and did the same thing you want to do.. We all helped her put the bouqets together. The flowers were very fresh and what I was told is that they are from the same greenhouse as the more expensive florists so she got a very good deal!

My cousin had no problems, and Sam's always has very high quality flowers IME

We ordered flowers from Kroger Supermarket and had no problems either.  I dunno if they carry Gerbera Daisies but check with Sam's, Costco, and Grocery store florists...they will be much cheaper than a florist.

I looked into ordering from Sam's club because of the cost and quality, but they didn't have the colors I was looking for. I found 2Groses online, and they have a GREAT selection. I got 200 roses for a little over $200 and that includes delivery. They are delivered to my house 2 days before the wedding, and are simply beautiful. They have a ton of different flowers, fillers, etc. I ordered their wedding sampler, where they send you a rose in each color they have, and I couldn't have been happier. Check them out!
