Anyone ever see a public transportation bus operator beat a passenger or make passenger start sobbing?

I never seen one when I was taking mass transit in NYC, but there was one incident.

MTA Bus Company is usually local and route Q65 recently introduced limited service to provide faster service.

When Q65 LTD going NB on Kissena Blvd and announcement this is Limtied Bus, African lady screamed, "Your stop is Grand Central Parkway." Bus driver replied, "This is LTD."

She continues to complain and ask for badge # and name. MTA Bus Company is non-NYCT Agency, so NYCT Customer Service cannot assist her.

i drive a bus for a living and i have yet to beat the h**l out of the unruly passengers they are always yelling about me being late or being early do i go here or there whens the next bus all them complain and the bus fare is free

NO!    But I'm sure that means our public bus drivers have been showing some admirable restraint.

Nope.  Never saw anything that physical.  The closest I recall is the following:

I was riding the Big Blue Bus (Santa Monica Bus Lines) many years ago, and the bus driver pulled away just as a guy got to the bus stop.  Traffic was heavy, and the guy almost caught up to the bus by running to the next stop, but once again it was "close, but no cigar" and the driver did not wait to let him board.

One passenger said to the driver "Congratulations, you won" and I said "Hey that guy wants to get on".  The driver responded "You want to drive this bus?!"

I don't know if the driver knew the would-be rider (maybe he was a fare cheat?) or was just in a lousy mood that day

No. But considering the passengers he probably deals with I wouldn't blame him for kicking some ***!!!!!

Yep, this lady bus driver pulled up at her terminus and this guy wanted her to take him further up the road, she refused so he punched her, she then proceeded to take the moron apart, had him crying like a baby when the cops arrived.

She had been trained in unarmed combat
