Anyone ever sent a product back to Sony

I mailed my daughters camera back to Sony DSC-W55 for warranty work. Im just wandering how fast they are and how good a job they do.

  1. I once since my playstation 2 back to sony for warranty work bc it wasnt reading discs.  They took about 1 month to get me one back and they ended up sending me another slightly used one.  I could tell it was another one bc I had my initials carved in the case of it.


  2. how long it's going to take depends on how serious the problem is. If it's a moderate problem, it might take a day or two. However, if there's something more severely wrong with the camera, it might take as much as a week, or maybe even two.

    The job is going to be fine, i really doubt they'll hurt the camera. Just wondering, what happened to the camera? they might not consider it as a warranty claim, they are very strict about how the interpret warranty claims.

    Sony is a good company Though.
