The CJ750 is a Chinese made Chinjiang 750, that is a reverse engineered BMW...the CJ750 was used militarily during WWII by the PLA....now the CCP

I am able to purchase one really cheap and probably freight it back the USA....either as a vintage bike or a new one with emissions filters installed

I am asking about dependability and any previous excperiences or stories about these types of bikes

Can you help me with some info or stories?

  1. If you really desire that type of motorcycle you would be far better off to simply buy a Ural here in the states. They are fairly inexpensive new and dirt cheap used.

But be forewarned that antique engineering makes for a motorcycle that is very slow to accelerate and just as bad to try and get to stop.  Also know that riding a sidecar outfit is completely different than riding a solo machine, if you have not already ridden a sidecar read please read "driving a sidecar outfit" before heading out.

  2. the other week my 680yve passed  a cj750
