Anyone ever worked on a cruise ship?

im a hairdresser and im looking for a job on a cruise ship as soon as possible. but ive been training with a friend without being paid so i dont have any proof is it still possible to find a job?

there are 2 major companies which run the spas on board.

www.steinerleisure.com

Hardings run both spas and shops, steiner run spas only.

Steiner is bigger and has the large companies like Carnival, Royal, Costa, Celebrity.

Hardings has smaller lines.

I know you have to go thru their training even if you have experience, Hardings training is in Southampton.

As long as you can do the job, not having proof of experience is not a problem, they will ask you to perform taks etc.

You will need a Basic Sea Survival course and a medical, but that only after you´ve passed.
