Anyone experienced Head Airflow 7?

I was planning to buy Head Airflow 7 racquet for my girlfriend. She thinks (and i concur) that after 3 months played with Head Ti S6 she should move to slightly heavier racquet. Are there any player experienced this racquet? Please share what you think of this racquet and if possible, also include your string and tension. Many thanks, folks!

  1. Most Head rackets function in there same way, I haven't tried the  Head Airflow 7 personally but it would be a very appropriate and satisfying gift.

I think that is great that you want Head, My close friend uses head rackets and they sure have their ways! The Head Airflow 7 won't fail you, but as I have not tried it I cannot judge, but it does look good, and it should be fine.

  2. In all reality, the Airflow 7 won't give a whole lot of difference.  Sure, going from 8 oz. to almost 9 oz. is a fair amount of extra weight, but I might suggest going towards something closer to 10 oz.  And you might try moving more toward an even balanced or head light racquet

The main reason to go heavier, is that you aren't keeping the ball in.  I'm not sure she'd see much difference in control until getting to the tweener range of racquets.  And even though they're called tweeners, it's fine for beginners to use them.  I would actually recommend it.

That being said, if she just wants to be able to play, the Airflow 7 might be fine.  If she's more serious about improving, then go for something in the tweener range.
