Anyone experienced this in labor?

I feel like I am getting the worst period of my life. I have a really bad back pain that does not go away in between contractions. The cramps in the front don't either.

I thought the pain was supposed to subside after the contraction? I am 37 weeks and have been having BH for the last two or three weeks, not intensifying or coming closer together. I woke up at 2 in excruciating pain, horrible contractions, lasted for about an hour, then the pain subsided and I went back to sleep. Still in a lot of pain right now though....

Is this early labor or am I just crampy? Anyone else experienced labor as just pain or are you supposed to be pain free between contractions?

Sounds like early labor. With my first pregnancy I woke up at 6am with intense irregular contractions and diarrhea. I took a short walk and they went away. Then the next morning it happened again. I woke up at 6am with intense contractions. I ran to the bathroom and noticed a huge glob of clear mucus streaked with blood. I had my daughter an hour later :) Oh and I definitely felt crampy for both days, none stop.

You might want to get checked out by the doctor. Just in case it's the real deal.
