Anyone familiar with Palma, Majorca?

I am researching my third novel which is partly set in the city. I need someone to help me who is very familiar with Palma, or is shortly to go there and can check some things out for me. I am not sure if it will help but i'm sure it was once a beautiful place,shame today it is full of prostitutes and young Spanish men who think they are handsome but are really ugly in european terms

I used to live there until Jan 2006. Was there for 2 years. Am going next week for a week. Would happily help. Are you able to contact people directly on this site? Am able to speak Espanol (Spanish), but not the local dialects of Mallorquian or Catalan.
