I can't believe this.I haven't used it in almost a year. Went out today, released the saw, raised it, loosed the hand s***w in front in preparation for changing the angle of the cut and it won't change. Unfortunatly I can't find the manual and can't remember if there is another release to adjusting the angle.

Does anyone know if I'm missing something? I suppose it may just be stuck but I hate to force anything without knowing I'm not forcing it to do something it's not meant to do and break it.

  1. pull the lever up

  2. The release tab is under the black hand s***w.Lift it up and it will move.

  3. Isn't there a set s***w that locks it in place in addition to the clip that fits into an indent?

  4. many models......but mine u unscrew the handle/k**b a few turns and there is a metal bar/handle right under the k**b...press up on it has u hold the handle and it should release....u might need to put some WD40 on it too....

  5. There is only the s***w handle in front and the lever below that, that you pull up to change the degree when the s***w k**b is loosened. It might be just stuck from not being used.
