Anyone farmiliar with the ZZR600 kawaii or a better sport touring bike?

i earlier put some questions in about buying a zx-600-r supersport as a first ride. out of about 30 answers 1 man went out and bought an R1 as a first bike and succsesfully lived to tell about it.

as for the other answers from people who are in the know, its clear now that an inexperienced rider shouldnt be on a supersport. Although i understand a safety course and several thousand km's of respecting the bike could put me on a supersport before opeing the throttle.

so iam going to take the watered down version, a sport touring. iam curious if the zzr600 has enough power to keep me interested i like the length of the bike and its more comfortable but is the engine that much different than the supersport?

It is a great bike for touring, and very fast in a straight line, the only thing it was said about this bike as a down side was the suspension, i have ridden one on a test ride and was impressed. I know what people say about sports bikes, but remember they are only as fast as your right hand.
