Anyone feel that Ivanovic tries to be too sweet?

She is constantly smiling, she is always gigiling. Don't you think that she needs to show her other side more? Jelena shows all of her sides and that is why i think she is more popular.

what do you want her to be,mean,ungracious and diva-like? i personally think her personality is refreshing in an otherwise fiercely competitive world. she's enjoying who she is as a tennis player,and it's obvious she hasn't let it go to her ego like sharapova and serena. did anybody say that about chris evert or tracy austin who were both as sweet as any top woman playing in those days yet still won trophies like nobody? frankly tennis needs the kind of girls we've seen not only in ana but also who we've appreciated in steffi graf,monica seles,kim clijsters,amelie mauresmo and svetlana kuznetsova.

You cant try to be sweet,you are or you arent. Why would she try to be sweet? She is what she is, I dont think any of her oponents on the court would agree with you;) And Jelena is more popular in Serbia and we all know why, becuase she  "cares"  about her country, and Ana doesnt...which I think its a lot of c**p. Anywhere in the world Ana is more popular, and tbh I like to be represented and known by someone like Ana ( humble, sweet child, what she is, she is 20 and she does look and act like a kid) than some all the time pissed of girl that thinks she is godess...

I just think her fist pumps are kind of.. intimidating. She's a sweet person though, although at times it seems like she's trying to be sweet. But personally I prefer Jelena. She just looks to be more humble, and at least I don't see her as a person who tries to be too sweet

Yes, she has that stupid fish pump I wish she'd just let go. I dunno I just like a more out there personality, more Jankovic, Williams sisters, Safina personalities.

Ivanovic has a PR manager who really controls her and her life and this is the image he wants to create.

It's a little fake but,really.Ivanovic is a young kid and a superb player;I don't want to get too down on her for something as silly as this.

Jankovic isn't as much a product of marketing as Ivanovic so she seems more "real".

Ivanovic is a very pretty girl so I guess some people want to capitalize on that too - I guess it will mean more $$ for her too (more sponsors,etc etc more endorsement contracts)

This is the world we live in.
