Anyone from Finland? Can you advise me where to go; I want to go for a week somewhere quiet for sauna and beer

Somewhere with no night clubs or too many tourists, that is very relaxing where I can spend every day in sauna and lake and drinking beer and maybe meeting Finnish people who have stories to tell

Check out www.lomarengas.fi for cabins/cottages for hire, and they have some farmhouse b&b accommodation listed too. That way you can stay somewhere in the real countryside..

I would recommend the Etela-Savo region as that is where the lakes are... such amazing scenery there!  People in that part of country are usually more friendy and chattier than their western counterparts.. provided they speak English :)

Then your direction is Lapland, though it's not for you if you don't like reindeer and mosquitoes!!
