  1. Sorry  this  has  nothing  to  do  with  your  question  but,  do  you  know  anything   about  the  New  Zealand  Gold  Rush??  I  hardly  can  do  a  report  with  the  stuff  I    have.

  2. check out the website seek.co.nz for carpentry jobs, some state the rate of pay.

also trademe.co.nz see the jobs section

also contact the teachers association, just google search everything on google.co.nz

  3. Provided you are getting fulltime employment, and have a few years of experience, you can expect between NZ$ 40.000 to 65.000 per year before deductions, depending also on the region (salaries and wages get lower the further south you go, with the exception of Queenstown and Christchurch).

Deductions are 30% for wages below 60k a year, and 39% for anything above 60k. Those deductions include all your social stuff though, so there won't be anything on top of that, unless you want to participate in the Kiwi Saver Scheme (to which you would contribute 3% of your income before taxes in that case).

  4. My friend is a fully qualified primary school teacher in NZ and she earns around $50,000 gross annually. She has been teaching for about 10 years.  The wages vary depending on your qualifications, experience and the school type.

A qualified carpenter is looking at between $25 - $50 per hour, again depending on experience and qualifications.

There is a slow down at present in the building industry, however it is hoped things will improve by the end of the year after our elections.
