i am from toronto, and we are very fortunite that our liberal government when in power, put some very good programs into operation. they already have a resume and cover letter, but they need to know the catch phrases that employers are looking for, and how to list the skills they already have to suit there next job. www.futures.ca/en/home.shtml

will give them this knowledge its an excellent site for that info. its a little tricky to figure out at first but it is packed with info.

go to your local unemployment office they have a 2 page list of all the job banks in canada.

the last bit of advice is this cold calling because so many companies these days are afraid of getting thousands of responses so they put it off until they need 3 or 4 people.

good luck, i wish i could offer help but i am waiting until Oct. to get my trade license to open my own company and i too am looking for work in the mean time.
