Anyone get pregnant after having s*x 2 days prior to ovulation?

Okay so my husband and I had s*x on a Thursday and on that Saturday I had "ovulation pain". I always had this pain every month so I knew that I was ovulating. I also always had nasty egg white mucus so I knew. So anyhow... I conceived. So it does happen. The Dr said that sperm can live about 4 days in the reproductive track.

By the way I don't know if this means anything but we are having a girl. You know they say that girl sperms live longer. hahaha

Yes! I did! We were having visitors stay with us for two weeks so we had to get our last romp in before they arrived. The last time we were together was about 2 days prior to ovulation. Our 3 month old son is laying in between us right now! :-)

Yes.  This pregnancy, my husband and I made love, he left on a trip, and I ovulated somewhere between 2 and 4 days later.  Sperm can hang around for 5 days or sometimes even a couple more, but the likelihood of conceiving the further ahead it is of ovulation.

Yes. If you want to become pregnant, ensure that the sperm are in place before you ovulate. Sperm can last for up to five days in your womb. Having the sperm already in place doubles your chances of conception. Start intimacy during your period or directly after. Every three or four days is plenty. Best wishes, G
