Anyone get pregnant on clomid after femara failed?

Question

I've used femara for four cycles and I did ovulate but did not get pregnant. Any of you ladies get pregnant on clomid after failed femara rounds?

I have only taken chlomid but I got pregnant on my 5th cycle after trying unsuccessfully for 2 and a half years so maybe this is the treatment for you.  remember everyone reacts differently to each treatment and the first one that you were on maybe just wasnt for you, your dr obviously thinks you have a chance with the chlomid or they wouldnt waste any money trying it so maybe this is the one for you.

Clomid may work better for you since it effect different hormones.

Both are used to cause ovulation but they work differently through different hormones.  Clomid makes the body think you need estrogen so it increases GnRH which cause your fsh to rise (fsh causes eggs to grow).

Fermara converts androgens into estrogen by being an aromatase inhibitor.



They have the same side effects except Fermara is cm friendly.  If you take Clomid and find you have cm problems take 200 to 400 mg of guaifenesin 2 hours before having s*x during your fertile time.

i've heard it the other way around, first Clomid then Femara, but your doc knows what's best for you and many get pregnant on Clomid, so Clomid might do the trick, have you seen a fertility specialist? after a couple of years you might want to consider some women get pregnant with injectables after trying clomid without success, you can ask a fertility specialist online for free for an opinion and find others taking Clomid, try fertilityties.com
