Anyone go on the 3 Day Diet and actually lose the 10lbs in 3 days?

First Day

Breakfast

half grapefruit or juice

1 slice of toast with 1 tbsp. peanut butter

Lunch

1/2 can of tuna

1 slice of toast

Dinner

3 oz. any lean meat (like chicken)

1 cup of green beans

1 cup of carrots

1 cup of vanilla ice cream

1 apple

--------------------------------------...

Second Day

Breakfast

1 egg (boiled or scrambled)

1 slice of toast

half banana (save the other half for dinner)

Lunch

1 cup of cottage cheese or tuna (6oz can)

5 saltine crackers

Dinner

2 beef frankfurters (hot dogs)

1/2 cup of carrots

the other half banana from this morning (eww)!

1 cup of broccoli or cabbage

1/2 cup of vanilla ice cream

Third Day

Breakfast

5 regular saltine crackers

1 oz.(slice) cheddar cheese

1 apple

Lunch

1 hard boiled egg

1 slice of toast

Dinner

1 can of tuna

1 cup of carrots

1 cup of cauliflower

1 cup of melon (any type)

1/2 cup of vanilla ice cream

--------------------------------------...

With every meal, black coffee or tea is allowed.

It's also recommended:

Drink four to eight glasses of water daily

Don't add fats when preparing food

Don't skip meals

Condiments Allowed

* lemon (and lots of it, if you like)

* a dash of salt and/or pepper

* mustard

* cooking spray

* artificial sweetener for the coffee or tea

* multivitamin pill

Substitutions

Some people use the following substitutions for the 3 day diet:

* Orange instead of Grapefruit

* Tuna instead of Cottage cheese (and vice versa)

* Frozen yogurt instead of Ice Cream

* Cauliflower instead of Broccoli (and vice versa)

* Green beans instead of Broccoli or Cauliflower

* Beets instead of Carrots

* Toast instead of 5 crackers (and vice versa)

It sounds great cause you can actually eat.

But did anyone go on it before?

How much did you lose?

Did you exersize?

  1. I actually tried this diet (was given it by a lady on here, was told it was for cardiac patients trying to loose weight for surgery) It would have pry worked but I was STARVING. My boyfriend and I both tried it. We did nothing all day because we were so tired and hungry and we quit after the first day.

    It is supposed to work on a chemical breakdown. Try it for a couple days and as long as you aren't hungry I think it would work

    The problem I believe for me is that I'm working and going a lot, and it's not enough for me. I'm 21 and 5'10 so I need more calories than a 16 year old that is 5'5''
