You can connect with other people going on your same cruise. Go to cruisecritic.com, click on boards, joining is free, then click on Roll Calls, find your cruise line, your ship, and your sail date.  In Feb, we had about 40 people lined up for a sail away party. We all wore Marti Gras beads so we could identify each other as cruisecritic.com members.

Try going to cruisecritic.com you can find a lot of other people going on your exact cruise! you can talk to them and get to know them before the cruise. This way you know people once your onboard. Also RC is great! If you sign up for the meet-and-mingle program from cruisecritic RC hosts a special cocktail party for you and the people on your cruise who also went to cruisecritic. You prob. won't find anyone on here but cruisecritic is a GREAT spot to look! Have fun!! RC is AWESOME!!!! The staff is wonderful and super friendly! have fuN!
