Anyone going to Santa Lucia, Cuba In September.?

I'm going to Santa Lucia, Cuba and was planning on renting a car to go to Las Tunas to party. However i cannot drive standard and was wondering if anybody was going we could meet and you could drive.

You'll really enjoy Santa Lucia...it's beautiful there. The beaches are beautiful. Wish I was going lol!

I agree with Havanalover. His suggestion is a good one -- to hire a taxi driver for the day.

Or you may consider using Viazul. It's a bus transportation. You can find the information, schedules, rates, etc...

I do not recommend to rent a car. When you have an car accident you as a foreigner are always responsible and are not allowed to leave the country especially when someone is injured.

Your best bet ...hire a private taxi with a Cuban driver, this has many advantages: the driver is responsible for his acts, your travel is more relax, the driver knows the traffic situations. Agree on a price deal before the ride.
