I already have my Bachelor's in Psychology, but would like to pursue my masters and think living in Ireland would be awsome too, particularly Galway. Does anybody have any advice as to where I should start this process of applying to NUI Galway? Do they offer financial aid to international students (I'm from the US)? How much would rent be for an apartment or studio in the area? Or any other advice you think I might need!

  1. Try www.nuigalway.ie

There usually isn't any funding available for non-EU citizens for Masters level, but there is for PhD level studies. A year's student fees are in the region of €10k, and you'll need at least €5k-10k extra for living expenses.

The best website for accommodation is daft.ie, but the college has rooms in student appartments available for around €3-5k a year. You'll get slightly cheaper on the private rental market.
