Um, I really doubt there's much significance in the difference of his hand position. They look pretty much the same.

Honestly, I don't think the difference in his hands means anything other than the blonde girl has hair that he had to get through to get his arm around her.

The girls, on the other hand... the brunette is feeling territorial (hand on chest), the blonde is feeling flirty (b*****s out).
