  1. 540 degrees. A hint that I use is to draw it out. Then, I divide the figure into triangles (but don't overlap them). In a pentagon you have 5 sides and 3 internal triangles (draw the lines across the figure). Count up the internal triangles and because each triangle has 180 degrees, multiply 180 by the number of internal triangles (in a pentagon 3, hexagon 4, etc).

  2. here is how to figure it out.

    formula:  180*(n-2)

n=number of sides a figure has ex. 5

  3. 540 degrees because at first I looked at the question with my WHT face and then I looked at the answers and then at the problem so I thought about adding and it worked.

  4. here's a formula: number of sides-2 multiplied by 180 degrees, so 5-2 is 3 x 180 is 540 degrees

  5. the answer would be 540 degrees. i hope that this helps =D

  6. 540 degrees

  7. emmabean is right. The formula to find that out is: 180 * (n-2). You plug in 5 for n. If there was a six - sided figure, etc, then you'd do the same thing. And yes, the answer's 540, since 180 * (5-2) = 540.

  8. The answer if 540 degrees. Good luck with your homework. =]
