I can get up to number 6 but that part just stumps me; I can't seem to do the fold that it looks like is being done, and the end result isn't what they've put. Could anyone possibly explain/show me a website with an example of how to do that particular fold? The animation on that site isn't working.

Thanks!

  1. not me

  2. Ok lets see if I can get you there with no pics to help. So at the end of 5 you have a rectangle half the size of your original square. (If not something is wrong already) Now what it is implying is NOT to fold the lower right corner up toward you but in fact to fold it so that the front and back are both folded in one step by opening (where the white smaller arrow is) in a way that takes the aforementioned lower right corner (this will be the front middle seam of the dogs face) and pulls it up so that the back of the dog face seam is touching the center vertical line of the dog (square). It should have a slight letter T effect. At this point it should almost look like the face. Turn it out of T form in to a more 2 dimensional flat dog facing you side view. Now the ears should be there but not pointing out so take your thumb and push up gently on the bottom tip of the ear this should bow out the top slightly so you can make a more angular crease. So the ears stick out instead of down. That should be it . Hope you understood this:/

  3. i don't know any websites but i know a couple of helpful books

that helped me. the steps are really easy but the creations are really good. one of the books is called Playful Origami.
